Obituary for Wanda S. Honeycutt

Wanda Stella Honeycutt, age 93, passed away November 30, 2010, she was a resident of Brighton, MI.

Born on June 21, 1917, Wanda was the daughter of the late Alexander and Anna Malinowski; Beloved wife of the late Maywood H. Honeycutt; Loving mother of Anita D. Griffis, Sylvia M. Honeycutt Swirple and Michael H. (Diane) Honeycutt; Proud grandmother of Chuck, Jim, John, Stephen, Bryan, Stephanie and the late Derek; Proud Great-grandmother of Dylan. Also survived by one sister, Stella (Joseph) Laskowski; sisters-in-law, Martha Meadows, Beulah Stephens, and brother-in-law, Arnold Honeycutt.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Walter, Jennie, Mary, Annie and Helen.

Visitation will be held a Lynch& Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main, Brighton on Monday, December 6, 3-9 PM, with a Rosary Service at 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Parish, 711 Rickett Rd., Brighton on Tuesday, December 7 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Karl Pung officiating. Visitation will resume from the Church on Tuesday morning at 10 AM. Interment of ashes Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Great Lakes Hospice Foundation, Michigan Veterans Foundation, Catholic Charities of MI, Inc., and Arbor Day Foundation.
