Virginia Lee Schumacher, of Brighton, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 5, 2017. She was 86 years old.
She is survived by her children, Charles (Carol) Schumacher, Judith (Michael) Rotter, James (Lynda) Schumacher, Nancy (Gary) Nix and Joseph (Pamela) Schumacher; sisters, Dorothy (Frank) Mann, Elaine (the late Robert) Turner; brother, Richard (Sally) Tierney; Virginia is also blessed to have been survived by fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Schumacher; brother, Charles (Beatrice) Tierney and sister, Wanda ( John) Eldridge.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Road., Brighton on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 10:30 AM with gathering beginning at 9:30 AM. The Rev. Fr. Joseph Campbell officiating. Burial will take place at St. Patrick Calvary Cemetery, Brighton.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
