Obituary for Thomas James Enright

Thomas J. Enright (1939 to 2017)

Tom loved life, and he loved his friends and his family.  He died September 21st, 2017 after a heart attack.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy, and their sons, Brian (Meg), Dan, and John (BJ) and by his grandchildren Finn, Mac, Brian (Erin), Sheila, Bridget, Lucy, Grace, Mary Clare, Rose, Kitty, Jack and his great-grandchild, Fiona.  His beloved dog, Toula, also survived.  Tom was many things: a product of the Irish neighborhoods of Cleveland, an Iggy Boy at St. Ignatius High School, a Fighting Irishman from the University of Notre Dame, the St. Patrick of the Chicago Southside Irish parade, a fun-loving storyteller, a golfing buddy and a business owner. But, it was the principles instilled in him by his parents, the love he had for his wife and his sons, his cheerful personality, his friendships, and his quiet faith that defined his life.

His wake will be from 4 pm to 8 pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral home at 600 E. Main Street in Brighton, MI on Thursday, September 28th, 2017.  Rosary 7:45PM. His Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am at St Patrick Church in Brighton on Friday, September 29th, 2017.
