Theresa Katherine Kull, a resident of Hartland/Howell area, passed away in the care of her family on May 15, 2014. She was 47 years old. Born on February 27, 1967 in Virginia, and raised in Michigan; daughter of Susan Cox and James Kelly.
She is survived by her husband, Edmund Kull, Jr.; four children, Edmund Kull, III, Hannah Grace Kull, Samuel Lonzy Kull, and Sarah Katherine Kull; her parents, Susan (Garry) Cox of Frederic, Michigan, and James (Edna) Kelly of Live Oak, Florida; her sisters, Trina Morse of Frederic, Michigan, Trista (JP) Koehler-Blonshine of Stockbridge, Michigan, and brother, Zachary Cox of Frederic, Michigan; her aunt, Carolyn (Lonzy) Sexton; her cousins, Tonya (Jim) Anderson, Tara (Dave) Robinson, Tasha (Jared) Farmer; her maternal grandmother, Mary Schuon; her sister-in-law, Wendy (Rick) Nelson; and many nieces and nephews.
Theresa graduated from Houghton Lake High School with the class of 1985. She graduated GMI with her BS in 1990, and Michigan State University with her MBA in 1998. On December 23, 1999 she was united into marriage to Edmund Kull, Jr. in Plymouth, Michigan.
She worked at General Motors for 20 years after graduating GMI, then opened the Little Saints Preschool as the Director for 5 years before becoming an Independent Executive Director for Thirty-One Gifts, which allowed her to spend more time with her children and family. Theresa, as known by all, exceeded at everything she set out to do both personally and professionally.
Funeral services will be held at Shepard of the Lakes Lutheran Church, 2101 S Hacker Rd, Brighton, on Monday, May 19th at 11 AM with gathering one hour prior. Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton on Sunday from 1-8 PM.
