Roger Allen Hawkins, a resident of Strawberry Lake, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, November 4, 2013 at the age of 68. He worked with Ford Motor Company for over 40 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Joyce �Connie�; daughter Gaylene (Jeff) Morgan; grandsons, Zachary and Lucas, a brother and many sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends may gather at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton on Thursday from 3-8 PM.
A Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Rd, Brighton on Friday at 11:30 AM with gathering beginning at 10:30 AM. Fr. James Mangan to officiate. Interment of ashes will follow at Washtenong Cemetery, Ann Arbor.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
