Robert Edwin Modjeski, a resident of Brighton, former resident of Livonia, and native of Toledo, Ohio died on December 6, 2017 at the age of 81.
He is survived by Carole, his beloved wife of over fifty-four years; his son, Michael (Laura) Modjeski; his daughters, Debbie (Steve) Klein and Cindy (Tom) Marino; grandchildren, Jordan and Griffin Modjeski, Gracie Klein and Anthony Marino.
After returning from his service in the U.S. Army, Bob served as a pilot for Ford Motor Company and the Ford family for over thirty years before retiring in 1996. In retirement he enjoyed painting, drawing, sports, his motorcycles, boating in Florida and his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, on Friday, December 8, from 4-8PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Patrick Parish, 711 Rickett Rd., Brighton, on Saturday, December 9, at 12 Noon with The Rev. Fr. Mathias Thelen officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made in his name to the church.
