Mary Dimitroff Verbanac, a resident of Brighton, former resident of Detroit and Garden City, and long time nurse with Wayne County General Hospital and the Wayne County Jail in Detroit, died on December 31, 2015 at the age of 90.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Anthony Verbanac in 1997, and is survived by her sons, Chris (Brenda) Verbanac, Peter Verbanac, Anthony Frank (Evelyn) Verbanac; her daughter, Paula (Mark) Verbanac-Peterson; grandchildren, Samantha and Toni Verbanac and Jacquelyn and Jared Peterson; brothers-in-law, Robert (Irene) Verbanac and Stephen Verbanac; sister-in-law, Phyllis Dimitroff; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by siblings, John C. (Frances) Dimitroff, Stella (Frank) Lang and George Dimitroff and a sister-in-law, Catherine (Roy) Perlove.
Memorial Service will be held at the First Congregational Church Ann Arbor, 608 E. William St., Ann Arbor, 734-662-1679, on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2:30 PM. Lunch will follow. If you are planning to join for lunch, kindly email momverb90@gmail.com to indicate how many will be attending.
