It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Williams announces his passing on May 4th, 2019, at home in Dexter, Michigan. He was in the presence of his wife, Kerrie Williams, and daughter, Marcella. He was 58 years old when he passed to Heaven from sudden cardiac arrest.
Mark was born on May 15th, 1960, in Warren, Michigan, to Marlyn and Theda Williams. He was the second oldest of five children. After graduating from Warren Lincoln High School in 1978, he began work as a journeyman electrician. He graduated with an associate degree in Engineering from Macomb Community College and began a long, successful career in Advanced Manufacturing. He most recently served as Automation & Robotics Project Manager, for North America, for Durkopp Adler America Inc.
In 1993 and 1996, respectively, he welcomed his two beautiful daughters,Jaclyn and Marisa. Marrying the love of his life, Kerrie, on July 15th, 2018, Mark embraced Kerrie’s daughter, Marcella, as his own.
Mark was a devoted father and loving husband. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, kayaking, biking, and hiking local nature parks, music, gardening, and world travel. He could often be found tinkering in his workshop and discussing his next ingenious invention with family and friends. Mark attended 242 Community Church and volunteered his time at The Pantry in Brighton, Michigan, helping others in need.
Mark will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kerrie, and children, Jaclyn (Elliott), Marisa, and Marcella. He also will be fondly remembered by his parents Marlyn and Theda, his siblings, Jim (Ingrida), Todd (Sandy), Tracy (fiancé Damian), and Eric (Heather), his nieces, nephews, and a large extended family. Truly, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
