Margarita Ventimiglia, a resident of Brighton Twp., former resident of Paris, TN, and native of Detroit, died at her home in the care of her family on August 13, 2015 at the age of 95.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph J. Ventimiglia; her sons, Tom (Vicki), Gary, Mark (Cindy), and Paul (Lisa); her daughter, D’Ane (Jim) Armaly; grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Perry, Lauren (Daniel) McAvoy, Aaron Ventimiglia, Jennifer (Cullen) Neaton, Matthew (Brieta Bejin) Ventimiglia, Dominic and Natalie Ventimiglia, Jonathon and Carly Armaly; great grandchildren, Audrey and Olivia Perry, James David McAvoy III, and Emory McAvoy; sisters, Kitty Prainito, Mary Hopkins, Josie (Frank) Ruggirello and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Connie Novara and Betty Veneri, and a brother, Joe Martinico.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Rd., Brighton, on Monday, August 17, at 10:30AM. Friends may gather from 9:30AM until the time of Mass. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp., on Tuesday, August 18, at 10AM. Memorials may be made in her name to Am. Heart Association. For further information please phone 810-229-2905.
