Obituary for Margaret Ellen Lenhardt

Margaret Ellen Lenhardt, of Brighton, transitioned and joined her husband in everlasting peace on May 19th, 2021, while surrounded by her family. She was 90 years old.

Margaret married her high school sweetheart in September, 1951. Her and Harold together, raised five children together in a marriage that lasted 60 years. They enjoyed 35 years spending time at their second home in Boynton Beach, Florida. The core of her existence was her family.

She dedicated her life to caring, loving, and supporting her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally. Her greatest joys were found in the family gatherings, including holiday celebrations, graduations, birthdays, and weddings. She was generous with her family and friends, never missing an opportunity to send a thoughtful card or gift. She was known as the card queen!

Margaret was also generous with her time volunteering in elementary schools, helping children to read. It was one of her most enjoyable experiences. She loved it. She golfed, bowled, crocheted and did pottery. Her beautiful crafted items were given generously to her family and friends.

Margaret was a highly respected office manager for two doctors, for over 25 years and retired at the age of 77. Margaret chose to live her life with boundless energy, careful, thoughtful consideration of others and a boundless love for her family.
