Obituary for Margaret Ann Ditto
Margaret Ann Ditto, a former resident of Canton, died on August 15, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. She was 68 years old.
Margaret was a graduate of Wyandotte High School, worked with Ford Motor Company and several Contract companies for a time, and enjoyed volunteering at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti. During chemo treatment, Margaret completed her Medical Assistance Certificate from Schoolcraft College.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11 AM, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Burial Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 4-8 PM.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 48 years, Dennis Ditto, in 2008 and is survived by her son, Dean (Deborah) Ditto; her daughter, Kimborly (Brian) Ditto-Ehlert; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Mason, and Anthony Ditto and Jarrod and Cavin Ehlert; sisters, Kathy (Lynn) VanNote and Sandra Kormos; brother-in-law, Donald Ditto; sister-in-law, Edith Burke and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was also preceded in death by brothers, David and Robert Delozier, and sister-in-laws, Rose Parvis and Julianna Ditto.
