Lowell Wesley Heideman, a long time resident of Brighton, died peacefully on June 5, 2014 at the age of 93.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marian (Yowell) in 2010, his sister, Louise Cochran in 2011, and a granddaughter, Denise Kellow-Walsh in 2012. He is survived by his daughters, Dorothy (Earl) Kellow of Tallahassee, FL, Linda (Tedd Ray) Potter of Brighton and Gayle Heideman of Tallahassee; his step-son, Lawrence (Linda) Wood of Wixom; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many loving extended family members and dear friends.
Mr. Heideman served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and worked in circulation department with the Detroit Free Press for over forty-three years.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, on Tuesday, June 10th, at 11:30AM with Earl Kellow officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, June 9th, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. Memorials may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association.
