Obituary for Lois Ann Hight

Lois Ann Hight, a resident of Brighton, passed away at home in the care of her loving family on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. She was 61 years old.

Lois was a kind, gentle and classy woman who truly made the most of life. She loved seeing the sunrise and set and saw the possibilities of helping others within each day. As a Nanny for over twenty-five years, Lois was especially grateful to play such an important part in the lives of several children. She loved Lake Michigan and the Caribbean Islands and enjoyed visiting Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City where she could be found on the penny slot machines while Randy played the Quarters. An avid visitor of zoos, particularly the Detroit Zoo, Lois love for animals was quite apparent in her doting over Tanner & Kailey, her canine friends.

She leaves behind her high school sweetheart, Randy, her beloved husband of 42 years; three sons, Ron (Marnie), Bob, and Mike (Jen); grandchildren, Kadin, Felicia, Ryan, Jessica, and Amanda; her mother Grace (the late Oliver) Bueker; sister, Louise (John) Abbott and brother, Paul (Cindy) Bueker; Randys brother, Rip (Donna) Hight, sister, Jill Frostick, and parents, Ralph and Arlene Hight. Also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 East Main St., Brighton, on Friday, November 4th, at 1 PM. Pastor Bruce Stoker to officiate. Visitation will be on Friday beginning at 11 AM until the time of service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. For further information please call 810-229-2905.
