Obituary for Lisa Ann Nagy
Lisa Ann Nagy (nee Jones) passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer on June 7, 2014. Lisa was born May 2, 1959 to Bill and Dorothy Ann Jones of Marine City. She married her devoted husband, Frank Nagy on March 21, 1987. She is survived by her husband, Frank; loving children Drew and Paige Nagy; mother, Dorothy Ann Jones; her siblings Ann (Jim) Schulte, Chris (Tammy) Jones, Kit (Matt) Chase; her loving nieces and nephews; in-laws June and Frank Nagy of Trenton, and her faithful companion, Shadow. She was preceded in death by her Father, Bill Jones.
Lisa passionately worked for the Brighton Area School District for fifteen years and will be dearly missed by her friends and colleagues.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the �Lisa Nagy Memorial� Fund C/O Talmer West Bank, 8700 North Second Street, Brighton, Michigan 48116 or CS Mott Children�s Hospital at the University of Michigan, C/O Pediatrics Cancer Center.
Visitation will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Road, Brighton on Wednesday, June 18th from 2-8 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Rickett, Brighton on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:30 AM with gathering beginning at 9:30 AM. Fr. Karl Pung to officiate.
