Obituary for Linda Carol Brandl

Linda Carol Brandl, a resident of St. Clair Shores and former resident of Brighton, died on August 1, 2010 at the age of 60.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Bela; son, Jamie (Sarah) Sonneberger; step-children, Joshua, Brooke, and Lauren Brandl; grandson, Joey Sonneberger; mother, Marianne (John) Loudon; sisters, Melody (Marion) Ferrell, Pam (Tom) Awrey, Debbie (David) Sanchez, Becky (Dave) Perri; brother, Bradley (Brenda) Nelson, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Jodee Sonneberger, and her father, William (George) Nelson.
Born in Detroit on July 15, 1950, the daughter of William George Nelson and Marianne Bradley Nelson, Linda grew up in Royal Oak where she was a graduate of Kimball High School. Following high school she worked as a medical technician at the Renaissance Center in Detroit. Linda and Bela first fell in love as high school sweethearts at Kimball, and would reconnect after twenty years, to enjoy over seventeen years of marriage together. For Linda, family was number one. Throughout her life she was the worlds best caretaker for her family, as she helped to raise her siblings and excelled in her role as Aunt Peach to her nieces and nephews. Some of her favorite times were spent on sister weekends, family get-togethers, and at her home in East Jordan. She will ever be remembered as kind, gentle, and for being loved by everyone.

A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, on Friday, August 6th, at 7PM. Pastor Dan McVey to officiate. Friends may visit 2PM until the time of service. For further information please phone 810-229-2905.
