Joseph J. Ventimiglia, a resident of Brighton Twp., former resident of Paris, TN, and native of Detroit, died on September 16, 2015 at the age of 92.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margarita, on August 13, 2015. He is survived by his sons, Tom (Vicki), Gary, Mark (Cindy), and Paul (Lisa); his daughter, D’Ane (Jim) Armaly; grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Perry, Lauren (Daniel) McAvoy, Aaron Ventimiglia, Jennifer (Cullen) Neaton, Matthew (Brieta Bejin) Ventimiglia, Dominic and Natalie Ventimiglia, Jonathon and Carly Armaly; great grandchildren, Audrey and Olivia Perry, James David McAvoy III, and Emory McAvoy; sisters-in-law, Kitty Prainito, Mary Hopkins, Josie (Frank) Ruggirello and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Rd., Brighton, on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 10:30AM. Friends may gather from 9:30AM until the time of Mass. Following Saturday's Mass, the family will have a reception at the church. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp., Monday, Sept. 21, 10AM.
