Gregory James Graham, a resident of Brighton, MI, died suddenly on December 15, 2019. He was 64 years old.
Born on August 18th in Detroit, Michigan he was the oldest son of Ronald James and Eileen Ann (nee. Meyers) Graham. He grew up in Redford, Michigan, graduated from Detroit Catholic Central High School, and worked at the Livonia Sears department store. He also lived in Livonia, Detroit, Milford and Plymouth. Greg eventually went to Schoolcraft College. He was employed in engineering for several years at Williams International, turbine engine manufacturer in Walled Lake.
Circa 1981, he met Kim Dorsten at the Plymouth Steak and Ale. Kim and Greg were married for 33 years. They lived in Plymouth until moving to Livonia where they had a daughter Sarah, and two sons, Justin and Derek. Greg earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University. The family moved to Brighton, where he has lived for nearly twenty years. Greg worked for General Motors for over twenty years. He was looking forward to retirement.
Greg loved his family, his three grandchildren, vacationing in warm climates, listening to music, Detroit & Michigan sports, and the company of friends.
He is survived by daughter, Sarah (Jared) Vanfulpen; sons, Justin Graham and Derek (Brandie Stehle) Graham; grandchildren, Lennon, Jayce and Barrett; mother, Eileen Ann Graham (nee. Meyers); siblings, Michael (Marie) Graham, Patricia (Bruce) Wilson, Daniel Graham and Timothy (Pat) Graham; loved one, Kim Graham as well as many close nieces, nephews, dear friends and extended family members.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Ronald James Graham (d. 2003).
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Lynch and Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, MI 48116 from 12:00PM - 6:00PM.
Memorial Mass to be held at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, 17116 Olympia St., Redford, MI on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:30AM. Friends may gather at the church beginning at 10:00AM. Fr. Socorro Fernandes to officiate.
