Obituary for Gail E. Feucht

Gail Elizabeth Feucht, 59, a resident of Howell and formerly of Midland, died peacefully on October 31, 2016 after a long and valiant battle with cancer.

Gail Elizabeth was born to Bob and Loretta Caza in Nova Scotia, Canada on July 6, 1957. Along with her three siblings, Carol, Mary, and David, the family moved to the United States, and settled down in Detroit, Michigan in 1966; it was here in 3rd grade that she met her life-long best friend, Sharon Kalis (née Hodges).

In 1975 Gail met and married her first love, Michael Festian, they were married for 20 years. Daughter Amy was born in 1977 and their son Timothy followed in 1981. Gail was a loving and nurturing mother, she always put her children first and provided them with a loving home. Sarah and Judy Draves came into her life in 1981; Sarah was like a second daughter to Gail and Judy became her buddy and lifelong friend.

She met her current husband, Ken "AJ" Feucht in Howell in 2000. They were married in Las Vegas a year later on October 20, 2001 and recently celebrated their 15th anniversary. Along with a husband, she gained another daughter, Casey.

Gail was a gracious daughter, selfless mother, devoted wife, embracing step-mother, adoring grandma, and loyal friend. She had a real zest for life; she enjoyed boating on Lake Chemung, loved to play bingo and sing karaoke. She loved waitressing and interacting with the staff and all of her favorite "regulars." Her bubbly laugh was contagious and she lit up the room with her smile.

She is survived by her husband of fifteen years, Ken “AJ” Feucht; her daughter, Amy (Jim) Levert; her son, Timothy Festian; their father, Michael Festian; grandchildren, Zack and Alex Levert; step-children, Brad, Casey, Keith Feucht; mother, Loretta Papineau; father, Bob Caza; brothers, David Caza and Clay Cooper; her All Star family and many dear extended family members and friends, including her life-long friend, Sharon Kalis and her beloved puppy, Nicky. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary and Carol.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2 PM, with visitation beginning at Noon. The Rev. Jenny Ritter officiating.
