Dannie Ray Vaught, a resident of Brighton and Fenton, died on May 10, 2014 after suffering a heart attack. He was 60 years old.
He is survived by Cindy, his beloved wife of over twenty-four years; children, Rachel (Bruce), Sarah, Paul and Leticia; grandchildren, Cassy, Emily, Bruce, Alexis, Nylize and many more to whom he was a father and papa. Also surviving are his sister, Diana (Vince) Curry, brother, Steve (Deborah) Vaught, in-laws, Don Isles and Bonnie Isles.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Greg Vaught and his parents, Stanley and Ivadeen Vaught.
Dannie served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and has enjoyed working with Ford Motor Company for the last thirty years. He was a hard worker, a role model, caregiver and hero to everyone and will be dearly missed.
A gathering will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main Street, Brighton, on Thursday, May 15, beginning at 1PM with a service at 4PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. For further information please phone 810-229-2905.
