Obituary for Chuck Wilber

Chuck Wilber a resident of Brighton, passed away at his home in the care of his family on Saturday, November 5, 2011. He was 61 years old.

Away from work he enjoyed travel, including trips to Fort Myers, Florida and Puerto Rico, cooking, gardening and playing softball. An avid fan of War movies, Chuck also enjoyed maintaining connections to his fellow service men and women at the American Legion in Lake Orion-Post 233. Above all, Chuck adored his children and grandchildren and was especially grateful for the opportunity to enjoy life as a proud father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Charles and Violet Wilber, Chuck was preceded in death by his brother, James Lanny Mauney and brother-in-law, Harold Meaux.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Kristie (Eric) Gruenwald and Kelly (Mario) Selak; grandchildren, Payton and Ella; sisters, Janice Meaux and Sharon (Art) Wright. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
