Obituary for Christian Davis Reid

Christian Davis Reid of Ann Arbor, passed away suddenly on November 14, 2020. He was 21 years old.

Christian had a big, bright personality and he was one of those people who changed the atmosphere in the room just by entering! He was a sweet and kind-hearted young man, but never afraid to speak his mind! He was a huge presence in a lot of peoples lives and touched so many hearts. Christian and his mom shared a very special bond, and loved going to concerts, and watching scary movies together, among many other things. Christian and his parents did a lot of traveling while Christian was growing up, they enjoyed many family trips to Florida for Christmas, traveling to Tennessee, out west, and so many other places.

Christian was also very close to his Grandma Pam, who he jokingly called, gangster ass Gam Gam. Christian spent a lot of time with his grandma growing up, who also went on many family trips with him and his parents. Christian had so many special bonds with aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends. Christian and his cousin Ira were the best of friends, really more like brothers, and Ira traveled with the family and spent many vacations with them. Christian and Ira could be found many times gaming together. long boarding and just goofing off. Christian also spent a lot of time with his cousin Hannah Leia, Kayleigh and Lauren. They were all more like siblings than cousins.

Christian played football and baseball most of his life. He joined the Junior Wolverines football during middle school, and continued playing football at Pioneer High School, all the way through his senior year. Christian also played t-ball at 5 years old and continued on playing baseball through high school, including playing for a travel team. Christian also loved video games! He was an avid play station gamer and made a lot of friends online. Christian loved motorcycles and was pursuing a degree at WCC for motorcycle mechanics. Christian was hoping to someday open his own motorcycle shop. Christian also loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Pizza! His favorite TMNT was Mikey.

Christian had been living in Ann Arbor with the love of his life, Madison, and their 4-legged fur baby, LuLu. Christian loved Madi beyond words and had told his dad and mom that she was "the one" and he was planning to buy a ring; and he had even already asked his cousin Ira to be his best man. Christian and Madi loved walking their dog LuLu, and watching movies together. Christian and Madi shared their love of tattoos, Christian even had 4 tattoos that Madi did for him, during her time as a tattoo apprentice.  Christian and Madi had big dreams together, with their own house, a family, and a side-by-side motorcycle and tattoo shop. Undeniable soulmates, when they were together, there was always likely to be laughter and often unplanned adventures.

Christian was bigger than life with the most sweetest and gentle soul, he will be missed beyond words by everyone that loved him.

He will be dearly missed by his parents, Oren “Jr.” and Janene Reid, and the love of his life, Madi Strayer: grandma, Pam (Paul) Brewer: siblings, Robert (Melissa) Reid, Vicki (Wayne) Melanson, and Darren Morris, and Michael Morris: Aunts and Uncles, Kandy (Reggie), Kristie (Brian), Shawn (Libby), Andrea (Shawn), Jacob (Brooke), Aprille (Garrett), Kathy (Bill), Helen (Herald), and Caroline (Donnie): Cousins, Ira, Kayleigh, Lauren, Hannah Leia, Tryston, Zach, Hannah, Sarah, Riley, Molly, Nora, and many others: his dog Lulu: many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
