Charles Willis Johansen was born in Charlotte, Michigan on October 24, 1950. Together with his sisters, he was raised by his dedicated parents Donald Joseph and Maxine M. (nee. Miller) Johansen. After graduating from high school, Charles went on to serve his county in the United States Marine Corps. He was blessed by the birth of his daughter Jennifer Sue Johansen. During his working career, Charles was a finish carpenter both residential and commercial and focused on many custom projects.

Charles was an incredibly lovable and social man making friends every where he went. He had a bold sense of humor and a contagious smile. As Chaz would say, And thats the fact, Jack! No brag, just fact!

Charles will be deeply missed by his sisters, nieces, nephews, and loving extended family. For the compassionate care provided by the entire Eisenhower Center in Ann Arbor, Charles family is forever grateful. Thank you for supporting Charles on his best days, his bad days, and all the days in between.
