Obituary for Brian Kent Arnett, Jr.

Brian K. Arnett, Jr. of Brighton passed away July 25, 2011. He was 26 years old.

Born December 4, 1984 in Livonia, Michigan, Brian was the second of three children born to parents Brian Kent and Patricia (nee. Valko) Arnett. Brian and his siblings were raised in the Brighton community where he attended elementary school and junior high.

Brian graduated from Hartland High School in 2003 with numerous awards for wrestling and his athletics.

Following high school, Brian had attended Kettering University in Flint where he studied Mechanical Engineering. Brian worked as a machinist along side his father and also as a landscaper for residential homes.

In 2006, Brian was blessed with the birth of his son Braiden. Braiden became Brian�s pride and joy. The two spent endless hours together sharing the moments and making the memories that fathers and sons cherish.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents George & Marie Arnett and brother-in-law Jeremy King. Brian is survived by his beloved son Braiden and his mother Lindsey Bowser; parents Brian & Tish Arnett; sister Veronica King, brother Matthew (Kalee Mahlmeister) Arnett; niece Faith; nephews Caleb and Carter; grandparents William Valko, Arlene Valko and Wanda Arnett. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of dear friends.

Funeral Service to be held at Brighton Church of Christ, 6026 Rickett Rd., Brighton Saturday 11 AM with gathering beginning one hour prior. Pastors Patrick Mead and Adam Hill to officiate. Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton Friday 3-9 PM. Memorials encouraged to the family.
