Obituary for Anthony Tony Schneemann

Anthony Karl Schneemann of Brighton went to be with his Lord on March 26, 2011. He was 94 years old.

Born January 13, 1917, in Detroit, Michigan, Tony was the first of nine children born to Karl and Helen Schneemann. Tony was raised in Detroit where he attended the Henry Ford Trade School, became a tool and die maker and machinist, and finally ended his career as an industrial salesman. He loved music and entertained and blessed many with his violin, trumpet, accordion, and other instruments. His �moment in the sun� was in 2007 when he entered the talent show on a Norwegian cruise and played to an audience of several hundred.

Tony was preceded in death by Lorraine, his wife of almost 60 years and his brothers John, Frank, Peter, and George. He is survived by his loving wife Marie, son Jim (Mary Lou), daughter Joanne Schindel (Ron), four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, six step children, four step grandchildren, six step great grandchildren, one step great-great grandson, three sisters, one brother, many nieces, nephews, other family members by marriage, and other dear friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at Tri-Lakes Baptist Church, 9100 Lee Road, Brighton, on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 11 AM. Rev. Art Larson to officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday 2-6 PM & Monday 10 AM until time of service. Private burial at Oakland Hills Cemetery, Novi, MI.
